Dr. Friedrich received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New
England. She completed her pre-doctoral training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine
in New York and was a post-doctoral fellow at Seacoast Mental Health Center in New
Hampshire. Additionally, she was a fellow at Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute in
their psychoanalytic psychotherapy program. Her training has included rotations in psychiatric
hospitals, emergency rooms, trauma centers, and community mental health agencies treating
children and adults. Clinical interests include interpersonal dynamics and relationships, trauma
intervention, as well as working with clients to improved satisfaction and success in their work
and personal life.
At Merrimack Valley Counseling Dr. Friedrich sees children, adolescents, and adults. Treatment
modalities include individual and group psychotherapy as well as couples and family work.
